    cisco lan extender

    I am unable to ping the ports on a lan extender. I get this message, PPP Serial1: Unsupported or un-negotiated protocol. Link = cdp. I know that the routers are communicating because I can show int lex 1 and get inf and can shut down and start the extender but I cant ping it. HELP.
