Locating PRI card in Option 81\CS100M

Cheers guys. The DCHI card was in Network Group 1, Shelf 1, in slot 11, which was connected to the PRI card in slot 12! I did as suggested and looped the cable via a Coax loop and the circuit came up..... Thanks for your help.

Locating PRI card in Option 81\CS100M

Cheers for your help. In that slot I have a Clock Controller card, which then feeds to the second port on a dual PRI card (DCH 14 and 15),. This however is in Network group 0, Shelf 0 slot 7. Could this be the one?

Locating PRI card in Option 81\CS100M

Hi, I have some config on our system which relates to a circuit we used to have installed. The cable was removed from the PRI card a few years ago and I now have a need to re-install it. The issue is I don't know which card the config is associated with!! We have 10+ Dual PRI cards installed...

Touchtone\Keypad tone across QSIG link via Cisco

Hi, Thanks for responding. The router models and IOS are the same as our site in Portugal which works, however the difference is that theis is the only site with a CS1000S running release 5. Our vendor built the system so I can't be 100% sure they configured the members in reverse. Here's the...

Touchtone\Keypad tone across QSIG link via Cisco

I hope someone can help with a problem I have with a site in Madrid. They have a CS1000S running release 5, One sig server etc.... There's a PRI connection (QSIG) to an E1 connection on a Cisco router which provides on-net VoIP to the rest of our company globally. The voice works fine but when...

Remote Call Forward via DISA (Unforwarding works!)

Hi John, I've tried that and it also fails. *56 doesn't work to site B via DISA (located on site A), however if you are on site A and do a *56..... direct from an internal ext. it's fine! *57 works fine in all scenarios. I'm having to resort to sending the trace logs to Nortel for help...

    2250 Console cable length

Thanks guys, it does work halfway (approx 250m) but fails at the 460-500m mark. I'm assuming by a 915m loop it means that it'll work up to about 450m in one direction? I might try doubling up on the pairs as suggested.

Remote Call Forward via DISA (Unforwarding works!)

Here's an odd one! We've been able to remote call forward a phone on another site (site B) via DISA in the past but it seems to have stopped working? We CAN remote call forward phones on our own site (site A) via DISA but just not the other site connected via a virtual trunk. The funny thing is...

    2250 Console cable length

Hi all, We need to move our consoles on site to a different building due to demolition. The issue we have is that the new home for the switchboard is 500m+ away from the PABX and we've tested a 2250 using existing cabling via an IDF and it fails. It works at the halfway stage (at the IDF) but...

    Automatic EDD

Hi all, We had a recent power problem which caused our CS1000S to reboot. Once it all returned we found we'd lost a few days worth of changes. The system rebooted on a Wednesday and all changes since the Monday night had been lost? It sounds to me like there some kind of automatic EDD happening...
