    Here is the line from the shortcut : "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office2k\office\msaccess.exe" s:\alasdsys\alas.mdb /wrkgrp s:\alasdsys\system.mdw /user John078 Terry, this is exactly the same as the Office 97 shortcut that works. Thanks for all your help

    Thanks, Terry, This is really weird. The shortcut loads access, and then loads the database , which is also named on the command line, but it ignores the /wrkgrp option that follow, just as if it weren't there. I've done this countless times with office 97 databases with no problem. I do...

    Trying to set up a shortcut to open a database using a specific system.mdw. This works great in my Office 97 applications with the /wrkgrp option on the command line. However, the exact same thing in an Access 2000 shortcut does absolutely nothing; just as if the /wrkgrp were not there.
