madawc is correct, tek-tips is a superb site but the search function is a let down. I often use it to no avail -only to find my answer(s) manually in the forums later (with my search keywords present!)

does anybody know of a gpo setting (or registry setting)that stops users from changing the font text size in IE. I want it left at default (medium). Alternatively, does anybody know how to hide the View menu by gpo or otherwise.

hi, i am having the same problem as babcockc. My home page is google but the pc will not load unless i click refresh.
It attempts to open the home page via IP address (on the bottom I will see "Opening 216.239.39.99..."). like i say it will load my homepage (google) but i have to refresh...just...

yes i am able to go these sites, my internet is working fine, it's just that when i try to ping say www.google.com it says request timed out even though my internet is working no problem! it's a strange one...any further ideas would be most welcome
