MeetMe in Call Manager is a conferncing option. Instead of initiating a call then dialling out to add in particpants, you simply define a MeetMe extension and everyone dials that extension to be automatically added to the conference.
The first person to dial the meetme extension must...
Dont' think so B0bby. Meet me is completely open.
You might want to look at Cisco's Conference Centre application, which adds a lot of value to MeetMe/Ad-hoc conferencing.
Good luck.
Never heard of a logo in the background before. Is this a 7970 phone you're using - one of the new colour ones?
There's no logo present (other than during boot up) on our 7960 phones, nor on the 7940. I don't use 7912's.
Maybe this is a CCM 4.0 thing - we're using CCM 3.3.4.
We use DataTrack Eclipse software which works very well for BT circuits (in the UK). A bit more effort to get it working on other tarrifs though :

Yep, that's one of my biggest bug-bears about CCM. Why can't a line be member of multiple pickup groups?
We have secretaries who have to pickup over 9 team's worth of phones. However, since those teams are in individual pickups, the secretaries would have to memorise all 9 group ext numbers...
Call Manager is versatile enough to pickup from a selected phone - you have to put all the phones into a group pickup, then use the standard "pickup" feature.
This means that you can't selected which of 2 or more ringing lines you want to pick up.
The only way round this (if there are a small...
I reckon statically NAT'ing your CCM on the Internet is simply asking for a world of pain. Keeping CCM secure on a LAN is a handful - making it publicly avaialble on the Internet would be a real headache.
For internet based softphone operation, you're better off looking at some kind of client...
Aye, it's true - Nice and Witness are the big boys out there.
I remember a linux program which did the same thing - basically just a packet to wav assembler. It's delightfully called "Vomit".
Maybe worth googling that to see if anyone has taken this little app further - it was no more than a...
This is for Unity 3.1.4, but I'm pretty sure that this hasn't changed up to Unity 4.0.4.
Go to the desktop of your Unity server and run Tools Depot. There should be a tool called "Advanced Settings Tool" - launch this app. Look for an entry called "Change Default location for UnityMTA...
Here's a document describing how to add Option 150 to your DHCP server (either Cisco or Microsoft DHCP).

Most installations will put the Call Managers in one segment, the phones in another and the...
What do you mean by "Direct/Individual" pickup? Terms across various PBX systems are often used in different ways.
Call Manager features pickup and group pickup. The first, you create a group of users who can pickup each others ringing phones with a single soft-key. Group pickup is similar...
You should also look at the Witness system - ContactStore 7.2. We've been using it for the past year. It was pretty unreliable until 7.2, but so far around 6 months without a problem (touch wood!).
Cost for a dual-resilient system based on 70 channels of PRI over 3 circuits was around £60K...
