    I agree with John on this one, also when you do fdisk, dont forget to do: fdisk /mbr and then do your standard fdisk. this will wipe any virus from master boot record as well. Good luck.

    Still to no avail. Thanks for assistance though. Could power supply cause this kind of problem? Have noticed that processor is having strange benchmark reading. should be around 350 but is reading 1200+. all jumpers are correct and the same as previous system board.
