Is it for all calls? Have you tried to see if there is anyone fiddled with coverage path? Is it problem with single user or a group or with the whole switch?
- Are the T1's provisioned as PRI trunks by the provider?
- Did you reprogram it as PRI trunk or Tie trunk?
- Can you copy and paste your programming on PBX?

The Nortel guy had to make changes on his trunk so the PBX accepts "digit DNIS" but not just the "digit"! Now its fixed and working fine! Thank you for your help!
Apart from TAC code we are dialing local extension on the other end!(Nortel extension) The tech on the other side assumes DTMF tones generated by Avaya is not being validated by Nortel!!! Aren't they all follow ITU standards??

We are here having a strage problem while trying to connect a t1 between Avaya S8700 and Nortel PBX, the channels are in-service/idle, but when called the number on Nortel using TAC, a wrong extension or same extension rings for all the calls!!! But it works fine other way...

We are trying to deploy CM - 2.1 but was wondering if any one knows if 2.1 has any constraints in fuctionality when compared to 3.1? I know 3.1 is enhanced, but if we have just 2.1 its still sufficient? Do you have any idea about how much extra 3.1 may cost?

Ok, just check with your company if they have any direct contact with Nortel, or if your company has a registered site ID with Nortel, in that case you can create your own login account with your company e-mail id.
8612 works just fine! I am mapping it to working extension! Well now I have fixed half of the problem though! After changing service type to "CBC", it started working, but the calls will land only on the channels belonging to primary D channel board!!! Its really getting on nerves!!! Any...
