Any 1 have any ideas why I can only view quick time movies when I have a specific video game running? Quick time seems to be connected to WOW, any idea how I can get it back to normal?

I am using my computer monitor to watch the videos. All the movies are quick time movies. I was able to view all these videos a few months ago but now suddenly they won't display, that's why I think there is interference somewhere and I don't know where to look.
I did the 2 steps you mentioned, downloading the codex and making my display the primary one. Still no luck. I'm thinking something is interfering with Quick time being able to be the primary video or some type of interference. Do you have any idea?
The type of videos I am trying to watch are training videos on a DVD which I have been able to watch previously and the videos on www.photoshopelementsuser.com website. I don't know if they need a codec and if so what kind or where to get. I'm not sure what you mean by number 2.
