Hey guys,
I’ve been doing a lot of photo editing of late, since getting my new camera and a big problem has cropped up in Photoshop…
Basically, I’m in the habit of finishing my pictures and then saving them to .jpeg/.gif via Photoshop’s “Save For Web” feature in the File menu...
TheLad,
Hey, do you use PowerDVD 7 or any Nero 6.6.0.16 software - I think I may have narrowed it down to these two culprits?
Just done a fresh install and "Play All" works atm, and I'm just installing my software around it, checking the feature all the time?
The only software I haven't...
Hi guys,
I’m having a small, but annoying problem, with Media Player 10
My .mp3 collection is arranged by albums in folders, and when I attempt to “Play All” as per the picture, the cursor sand-timer appears briefly, but nothing happens? MP10 fails to load...
Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded my hard discs and had to re-install Windows (XP Pro) which all went fine as expected, but then I began to notice I had a few ‘annoying’ problems…
I couldn’t change my home page in Explorer for some reason? Just keeps coming up with the default one, MSN or...
Hi guys,
I’ve just bought an ‘oldish’ Windows 98 system off a mate that he’d been using at work on their network? Novell I think?
What I wanted to know was, is there any way I can reconfigure it for home use (At the moment every time you try to do anything the system denies you, and asks you to...
Thanks mate,
I think I'll start proccedings now!
A lot of people I speak to seem to think that bad sectors are nothing to worry about!!!
I know they're not going to go away... They can only get worse right?

Hi guys,
I’ve just run chkdsk and much to my surprise it appears I’ve got 12Kb of Bad Sectors? I’m using 2x 4-month-old 160GB Samsung SpinPoints in RAID0 using NTFS.
I’d tried to fix them in Windows with ScanDisk to no avail? What should I do now? Am I worrying unnecessarily? It’s just I’ve...

Hi guys,
I’ve just tried to install a new copy of Norton Internet Security 2004 on a mate’s machine and it crashes Windows (XP Home – SP1). The installation goes fine (Apart from it never prompted me for an activation key… Hmm?) But when I restart after prompting Windows freezes on the XP load...
Great!
All I could do though is edit the handlers? They still remain in TweakUI don't they?
Great tool though, full of possibilities! I've heard of it before, but just never had the need to use it?
I think I'll now give CleanHandlers a go!
When using RegEdit though, should I delete the keys...
Hi guys,
I recently decided to remove Blindwrite simply because I wasn't using it.
Anyway the uninstalling went fine, but I've just noticed that when I put a blank disc in my CDR I still get the option of using Blindwrite in the autoplay choices Anyway of removing this ?
Cheers,
SW.
Hi guys,
I just finished doing a full Virus Scan with Norton Security 2004 and the following 'spyware' file was found...
'BridgeX.dll'
As usual, I tried to delete it. But it won’t budge! I then clicked on the actual file to get Symantec's help (see below) but manual deletion doesn’t work...
Excellent! I'm sorted. Thank you both very much! I ended the process, deleted the file, and removed the Registry Key with Norton OneButtonCheckup.
Thanks.
SW.
