Does anyone have anymore ideas on how to fix lnk file association. all files seem to associated with lnk extension. tried 2 reg fix but did not work.
can not get ot system restore.

My issue is that I have reformated the hard drive 3 times now. and it has ending up in a revolving boot.
The first time sp2 was download automatically and once it rebooted everytime you clicked on any program the IE window appeared fatal error do you want to send report window. No operation...

linney, I looked at all the great threads. I could not get the repair of XP to work. However can I just go through add and remove, and uninstall IE and then reload just IE off a disk?
bcastner, It is hard to explain I did a print screen image of it but can not get it place in this mail. It is not the window it is the actual print in the window.
The display on the desktop is correct, however upon opening up to the Internet IE page views are so small you can not read them. Even opening help files are small tiny words.
If you write in word things are fine if you open up help file small tiny words..............

I have 128meg nvidia ge froce video card. With 35 hours on dell support line we still can not get the svideo to transmitt a signal to the TV.
I have gone and got the newest video driver. Even purchased a new tv dell said the tv wasn't new enough.
