I should add that if I had bothered to read the whole question I would have seen that you mentioned the "Layer Settings" entry was "greyed out" and now I feel like a retard. Sorry about that...- sadknob

You can also use the "Layer Setting" (Ctr+Shft+Y) under Layer in the menu to adjust the name of a layer at any time.- sadknob

Changing the color of a car
Yeah...easy to explain...a pain in the ass to execute. Dupe your video layer first...then basically, you are going to mask the car colour by building the mask around it point to point--(hopefully the car is in the same spot, otherwise you have to track it which can be another hassle altogether)...- sadknob
