In my experience 8.6 is the weaker of the two, so what I'd do is install 9.1 then go to you control panels and select software update this will then let you update you system to 9.2.2 which is far more reliable.

Try manually selecting your printer through the chooser in the Classic environment as "64" is generally the USB saved for the printer and as you are running Quark 4 through Classic you will be printing through classic, whereas in Photoshop and Illustrator you can print through OSX.

Sometimes when you print from Quark the output comes out as RGB Composite, in the print menu see if you can change this to CMYK Composite in the section marked Output. This worked in Quark 4 it might work in 5.

an "exe." is a PC setup file not to be used for Macs, does it come with a installation disk? If so it should have an OSX installer on it if not it is possible that the CD burner you've go is not compatable with Mac OS

I'm designing a web page in indesign, the manual talks about being able to import HTMLs but can I import an animation created in image ready and then export as a HTML keeping the animation information? I'd like to know either way because if I can't I'll just have to do it another way.

Found it! It was a problem with the font Optima, an ugly looking font but I had to use it in a headline, I've created outlines and it now seems to be working. Cheer Rupes
