    Cannot see local area connection icon

    For some reason, i can no longer see the local area connection Icon. I can still access the internet and local lan, but I cannot see the icon. I tried the MS fix (Some Network and Dial-Up Connections Icons May Be Missing (Q254631), but it did not work. I also tried to reload the service pack...
