    If the connector is exposed to hot environment, I would recommend 3M Ultra High Temp Hotmelt connectors. These are designed to work upto 100 deg C.

    In that cisco document, there is a mention of type of clocking which also influences the distance of V.35 cable. I did not understand that fully. Can any one explain ?

    I have given 192.168.10.1 to ethernet port and 203.100.5.1 as secondary address to that port. Can I use this secondary address (alias IP) to unnumber a serial interface ?

    Cat5e cable sheath stripping

    While maintaining a distance of 1/2" is possible with 8 position jacks, I am finding it more difficult to do that in IDC modules like Krone LSA and High band modules. Is there any seperate standard for removal of sheath for terminating on IDC modules (8 pair or 10 pair) ?
