I had some trouble getting the link lights to come up when connecting a cisco switch to a HP Procurve 4000M switch. I had to configure the Cisco GBIC port to "speed nonegitiate" before it would work.

We recently had to rebuild our SQL server and restored our databases but did not restore the master, model or msdb. The databases show the users but they don't work. Is there something missing? Is there a stored procedure to relink these users? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is the problem... Our SQL Server crashed and the data was corrupt.. No one put this patricular database in the maintenance plan so there are no backups. :(

I am trying to backup an exchange 2000 server using Arcserve 9. When I backup files, I get a transfer rate of 600 to 1000 MB/Min however, during the Exchange Backup , I only get between 4 and 9 MB/min. Does anyone know what could be causing this slowdown? Thanks,
