    Power options

    Try disabling the power options in the bios as well as the control panel\power options. Just set them all to never, and while you are at it disable the hibernate feature.

    Or you can just remove your profile and re-add it when you get back. Are you in a domain model? if so you should just make him log onto your pc if you are running xp they won't have access to any of your my document files or email.
