    Hi brendangriffin! Thank you for the reply. I have already tried Tiny Term and it seems to have problems when I run scripts, and even with the vi editor, where the program freezes and some of the ordinary commands that I would use in Exceed aixterm windows do not function. Thank you again...

    These files are in separate directories and I have never been in the executable files directory until the file turned up missing. I don't think it was my finger trouble anyway. Could have been someone else though.
