How can I customize the link of the help button, export button and print button in the interactive toolbar?
Can I add additional function buttons to the toolbar?
I have designed a bar chart in a report which contains a horizontal line as a kind of threshold indication (from custom line in grid option). However I would like to change the value of this line in Realtime in CE using JAVA. Can anyone teach me? I guess I might have to retrieve the line object...
I am using CR9 with RAS standalone server (no CE). I have designed an alert using parameters in CR9. When I run this report in RAS and enter the parameter, no alert comes out. How can I generate an alert? many thanks
I set a custom line in chart under grid options. However how can I modify/change this value in runtime? Use Viewer SDK or RAS SDK? I dont need to change it permanently but just enough for me to generate a report that reflect this change at that moment
How can I add/modify a filter to an existing report TEMPORARILY in runtime so that I can generate reports with this new filter settings? I dont need to save or modify the actual file in the end. I just got a RAS server but without CE. Only RAS session needed? Many thanks.
I would like to develop java application that only need to generate reports from input parameters (e.g. input data). Can I do this through modifying template?
I dont need to save this modification afterwards, so can I ask whether a RAS server will do for me? Coz I dont have a CE.....
synapsevampire & Turkbear , I understand what u guys saying. But I just want to ask if I can actually change the oracle client driver to my own driver or simply set that in CR or CE? Anyway, many thanks!!!!
I am developing java application in sun solaris and it is using one of the JDBC driver. Therefore its best for me to use the same. Morever this JDBC driver supports the character set that I definitely need (GBK) but i am not too sure about the driver with oracle client.
I think CR naive driver...
I have to run reports from CR using oracle.I believe CR will automatically use the driver from oracle client in my server machine. Is that possible to use my own driver (because I got a JDBC oracle driver)? If yes what should I need to do? Many thanks
Thanks lbass! Although I am using CR9 and there is no Report analyzer, I figure it out from your hints. However, how can I change the threshold line colour or make this line thicker?
How can I display both bar graph and line graph in one chart? Obviously both bar and line are from different group values but I want to show them in one chart for comparision. Many thanks
