I have seen this before but can seem to find the format for scheduling a cron job to run only on the last day of the month.
Right now I'm brute forcing the job by:
0 0 28,29,30,31 * * /mydir/mycronjob.pl
not effecient, but gets the job done.
Any ideas?

I can telnet to user accounts without a problem.

I am looking for the disk file I/O buffer size as a basis for tuning an ORACLE database. The ORACLE docs use 64KB as an example and I would like to confirm that for this box.
My Swind and Rwind are 32768 from netstat. Does that mirror the disk file I/O buffer size?
