You are correct, of course. I've set it manually since 2007. However, it would be cool to have updated firmware and automatic DST. Geek tendencies cropping up again, I'm afraid. Still have not gotten an answer about cost, but one of the BPs returned my call.

Thanks for the advice, Touchtone and all of you. The vendor agrees that the port on the ACS R6 processor unit is probably defective, and a new proc is being shipped to me. The PVM R3(S) works fine in its slot(1) but the backup card would not work when I put it in slot 1 and powered back on...

I'm probably out of my league here, but a rep at Metroline told me that the password for remote access to the ACS system has to be reset from Station 10 prior to each remote access session. Allegedly this is true when using the PC software locally AND remotely. Can anyone else confirm? Rob

I have powered down and tried the cards in both slots with no luck. The manual says Slot 2 is preferred. Currently my PVM R3(Small) card is in slot 1.
