The following is from our IIS 5.0 log file. This is from a Citrix XP server running W2KTS. Most of the file contains the usual port 80 GET entries. Most of our users can be identified by their IP addresses, because there are so few and I've just remembered them. Anyway, here are the entries I...
OK, thanks for responding quickly. I will be explain some more. To establish a VPN connection, our remote users have a Windows 98 dialup networking icon they use to connect. It asks for username, password, and points to the IP address of our Cisco 2620 Router. Once connected, they can then...
I have a 3 client remote office that needs to connect to a VPN. Users usually connect to the VPN through a simple Windows VPN connection, however the Linksys cable/dsl router we had at first doesn't support multiple VPN connections. The VPN is running on a Cisco 2620 router. I am hoping someone...
First of all, Dirk, thank you... I finally got it to work when I followed your advice.
Now, jsergi, to have your clients download the new signature updates, you have to right-click on one of the clients in InoculateIT administrator and select "Configure Distribution Settings". First...
I seem to be having trouble assigning 2 of our Windows 98 clients to a branch. All of the clients were installed with remote install, and all work fine except for these 2. In the Administrator View, when I right-click on one of the computers in question, I get a dialog box asking me to logon to...
Thanks for the suggestions. However, due to other reasons, we had to shutdown the server for a while, and when we brought it back up, I decided to just delete and recreate all the Arcserve jobs and such. Well, everything is now back in working order. Go figure. Thanks for the help anyway.

Our PDC disappears from the Network Neighborhood sometime in the afternoon everyday, and reappears about an hour later. It is always still available through mapped drives, but for end users through our VPN, that isn't an option. By the way, NT 4.0 SP5. Any help please, this is driving me nuts...

OK, so I've been following the threads here for a while now, and I thought Arcserve Guru had the fix for my problem, and I thought it would work, but it didn't. First, I was getting this error message...

Good day all,
I am relatively new to SQL Server and Enterprise Manager, alas I am getting the hang of it. We are running SQL Server 2000, with an append backup to disk scheduled each night. The backup file is now starting to become rather large, and we are starting to run low on disk space...
Howdy,
I had this problem once before, and there is a way to stop the process in Task Manager. BUT, you cannot open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del or by typing taskmgr.exe in the Run box.
To make it work, open a command prompt, and then type:

Hello,
I have just started at my position here at work. We have a problem that occurs every weekend. We have a T1 connection, and every Monday morning, someone needs to reload the router in order for the internet access to work again. It seems to occur after about 24 hours of nonuse. It may...
