Hi Louis If the VM server is running on a 2811 then it is Unity Express. I'm not so sure if you can forward voicemail to email on the Express version. Let me take a quick look at one of our systems and I will get back to you.

Easiest way to check for the ports is to enable detailed logging on the firewall and attemt to map a drive, then check the log and this will give you the port numbers that need to be opened up. Alternatively run a sniffer on the PC that is mapping the drive and check the ports in there.
