    recently a "professional" changed our squid.config and also deleted both cache and log files. it initially gave as an error "starting squid:/etc/init.d/squid:line 162 2420 aborted" but it could browse. now it is still giving us the same error but not browsing. how can i rectify it.

    no i haven't stopped any folders from being replicated i've just setup roaming profile the "normal" way, changing *.dat to *.man. Something to take note of is that am using office 2003 pro on windows xp service pack1
