The combo box/dropdown list appears to only display a maximum of 7 rows when the dropdown arrow is clicked. Is it possible to display more than 7 rows? I can't find any properties that control this? (using version 6.0)
The app is compiled as an .exe.
I put CLEAR EVENTS in the destroy event of my top-level form and this had no effect; still the open foxpro after the form is destroyed.
The VFP application wizard creates a startup program which I included below. I put a wait window at the end of this startup...
I created a simple application using the application wizard in VFP 6. and compiled it into an .exe. The app_topform is set as the top-level form and windowstate is maximized. The form comes up, I login; everything's fine.
The problem: when I quit from the application the topform closes but...
How does a 'webservice' differ from the two options I mentioned? Would it allow use of the current VFP code without totally re-writing it into another language?
One of my customers has a VFP 6.0 distributed application that enables agents to calculate policy information and then forward it to the central office on a monthly basis.
They would like to put this functionality onto the WEB (they already have an web site maintained at the central office)...
The sequence that uses cursorgetprop and sqlgetprop works like a charm!! It captures the fact that the connection is still busy and keeps me from plowing right on with updates before the open process is completed. It's exactly what I've been looking for!!
Thanks..
I asked this question on 3/25/03 as 'PROBLEM UPDATING SQLSERVER VIA REMOTE VIEW/ODBC' and got no response.
I'd like to try again.

FINALLY A SOLUTION!
Since my fpw26 was working when I was logged onto the network under my network user name I was curious what would happen if I created a user (other than administrator) on my laptop. So I created a new user; gave this user full administrator privileges; logged in and to my...
I'm able to connect to the network today so carried out the last suggestion. The clear button was disabled. I never save the environment in my screens. The issue is not about any one screen; I can either open any and all (on the network) OR none (stand alone).
I disabled the resident shield of the AVG virus checker and the problem still occurs; can't open the screen or report editor as a stand alone; but CAN when on the network.
I just discovered something new. I am now at a customer site where I usually connect my laptop to the network. After connecting to the network I openned fpw26 (the .exe is on my laptop!) and successfully openned several screens and reports for editing. Foxpro did not close; the problem did...
I tried all the levels of the hardware acceleration setting and still the problem persists.
All I have installed on the laptop besides fpw26 is Microsoft visual studio, Office pro 2k, iomega zip software, avg anti-virus software.
What other drivers could be a problem??
Thanks for the suggestions!!!!
I have the software for 7 different applications on my laptop with hundreds of SCX's and FRX's. The problem is not specific to any one scx or frx. I've tried to open dozen's of them across applications; in different directories. I also have several copies of my...
