You can´t use your internal machine as public DNS Server with a dinamic IP form your ISP. DNS Server needs a static IP.

3.4.1 patched clients works fine with NetBackups DataCenter 4.5, but 4.5 clients are little more fast. You can ask for this client to your Veritas provider. Don´t forget to apply the last patches to your 3.4.1 patches.

You can use 3.4 clients with with NetBackup DataCenter 4.5., but is much better to upgrade to SP and install 4.5 client.

Install a second DNS server with your secondary zones and said goodbye to your problem
