We use ASSP - http://assp.sourceforge.net - and LOVE it.
Easy to set up, uses Bayesian filtering, you can configure it to constantly update its own spam database... and best of all, it's free!
Replacing a Windows 2000 web server with a Windows 2003 server... migrating data and web pages to the new server to decommission the old one.
The Win2K server is also running Exchange 5.5's Outlok Web Access (OWA).
Problem: Exchange 5.5 will not install on Windows 2003 server. (Yes, I know...
It sure LOOKS like an anti-spam related issue. I know My isue is with the ISP's MessageWall spam/AV filter server... not the e-mail server itself. (The sysadmin gave me an e-mail address to send to that completely bypasses the spam filter as a test, and it went through just fine.)
Having the EXACT same problem! Using Exchange 5.5 with SP4, running on NT4 SP6. Have one ISP that ALL messages to get stuck. (They host for a couple of different clients of ours.)
My problem first occurred last week on 2/5.03
Here's a piece of interesting info: When I double-click the...
I also am having this problem. Users are getting rather frustrated.
In my case, using Win2K wit MetaFrame XPa in a 2-server farm. One server seems to be OK, but the other one gives me this issue with user profiles being reset. I have *roaming* profiles set up also, with TS/Citrix user profiles...
The feature is available in the CMC... IF you have XPa or XPe, AND the "Resource Manager" option installed. (I think XPa is the minimum version required...)
Or you could do it using the AT command.
Anybody know what services OTHER THAN "System" and "Administrators"/"Domain Admins" should have rights to a user's roaming profile directory?
I am using an XPs farm (on Win2K, obviously) with roaming profiles set up on a separate Nt4 server. I appear to be having...
Had this problem myself on a couple of Windows ME systems (one was my personal one). Believe it to be a video-related problem.
What version of Windows are you using? And what video card/chipset? (My personal system is an old Matrix video card; the other one I believe is also, but can't get the...
Got an interesting puzzler here:
Running OTG's ApplicationXtender v4.20.x on MetaFrame XPs. (AX allows you to scan documents in an image file, then view the image files so you don't have to shuffle papers... very cool.)
Problem I am having is that we have some documents (all from one client)...
Solved this one myself. Solution for resolving issue with Published Apps not working (getting full desktop instead of published apps) was the cure.
For those who don't know, the solution is in Citrix Knwledgebase article CTX644401.
Got more to add to this problem:
When my "new" session window opens (the one I get when I should have gotten a shadow session), I get a dialog that says "A server application is trying to access your local client files. What access should be allowed?"
I then get a choice Of...
Got this weird problem that started happening last week:
I am running Metaframe XP FR1 on Window 2000 servers.
Running a two-server MetaFrame XP farm with SP1 & FR1 (on Win2K SP2).
When I attempt to shadow a session through the MMC, a new session is actually launched instead of just a shadow...
It is not a seamless app. Direct server connection rather than published app behaves exactly the same way.
This problem ONLY seems to occur with WinME clients.
