My goal is to print the last page first (page 100, then 99, then 98....). I have a printer that has a stacker, but it stacks face up, so if I print the first page first, the first page ends up at the bottom of the stack.
Moving from running RM/COBOL under Unix to running the latest version running under Windows. We need a simple way for a user to do a screen print (not cut and paste into Word - just hit a button). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you
I will see it that will work, Thanks.... the goal is to print out the sheet and create a book for the sales dept to use for items that can not have a barcode attached. I was hoping I would not have to have the barcodes in the spreadsheet though. They are currently stored in a separate If I get...
I have a sheet with a list of item numbers and need to insert a tif file on each row in a different cell containing the bar code for the item. The tif file is the same name as the item number with .tif . How can i do this easily? The sheet changed as new items are added.
Thank you in advance...
Yes we did... but we ended up going down a different route. We could not get the VB program to run using remote commands (ran fine when execute from the server). So, we found a $50 program on the web that will sit on a windows server, monitor a directory and print any file in the directory...
the BAT file runs the VB program that uses the Acrobat APIs.
We may have solved our problem with a $50 program on the web that will monitor the directory or run on a command line to print the PDFs and use Adobe reader instead of the Standard version of Adobe Acrobat. As a side note, I have had...

Hope was to use the APIs in the Standard version of Acrobat. The cobol...

need to execute remote commands from a unix based cobol program to run a vb program on a windows 2000 server. Getting connection refused when tryin RCMD...Any advise would be appreciated.
I have a vb program called from a cobol program running on unix. I need the vb program to run on a remote server instead of the local users machine. Any suggestions?
I was hoping to use the Adobe APIs for printing the PDFs. The program runs great called from a common network drive by the unix program... as long as I have a full version of Adobe Acrobat installed on my PC... We can not afford to outfit everyone with the full version. The goal was to use...
The vb program is called from a Unix order processing system. The order can contain 1 or more requests for PDF documents. The goal is to have the unix program create a temporary directory with the PDF docs, pass the directory path to the vb program and the vb program print the PDFs in the...
