Quick update for anyone with this error - "Cannot edit Users"
The kit required initialising - system had probably not been initialised at time of installation.
Once initialised any User could be edited normally.

Thanks for the swift reply, yes I'm logging in as INSTALLER
After uploading edited config to the suspect system I'm able to login with the new credentials (four upper, four lower and four numerical) but the web environment still appears to be missing icons and the users are uneditable...
My UK employer adopted maintenance of this NS700, it was installed by a 3rd party unknown.
Customer wanted their own non-Installer login for name changes etc... but the User Profiles cannot be edited.
Expected it would be cured by a patch from release 4.22016 up to 7.01.380 but the problem...
Hello CS1000
We have a problem signalling to a Option-51 from a BCM50.
I have a customer with an Option-51 running rel.22.
Their BCM50 is connecting to the '51 via SL1.
They have installed the Q.Sig and MCDN licences.
The trunks signal to each other, the '51 can call the BCM.
When the BCM calls...
There is a limited way this works without F69:
Say Boss x201 Call Fwds to Secretary x205; any user calling 201 shall be forwarded to 205 - except for 205...
205 can call 201.
This, I'm guessing is to allow Boss/ Secretary working; any callers are forwarded to the Secretary on 205 however the...

I've been informed (on the grapevine) that the 450 will incorporate wizards and templates again, eg: to assist in moving DN ranges, programming groups of users.
But, if there's an NDA on the 450, we will have to wait.
All the operational docs are now available online...

It is an offence under British law to connect non-compliant equipment into the UK phone network...oh boy.
That said many people do, and you'll only get caught if the equipment in question is causing problems for BT at the exchange (central office).

This was my first BCM400 installation and I have to admit my knowlege of PECs is 0%, I'm guessing they're the memory strips at 256MB each, in which case I have one PEC...
Never had this on BCM50 BTW.
I have had the same problem:

We've got a BCM50 Rls 2.0 with SU009 and I wanted to rebase the system for use in our tech room:
Attempted a Level 2 Factory Reset to remove patches and passwords;
But when I began entering the reset sequence the system ignored the reset pushes,
