i emcounter an error 1003 when exporting DataBase...but the exp seem to be exporting row to the dump file..

when i export it and import it into another database again
it gets imported into the same system tablespace.(although
the default tablespace of that new user is USERS)
here is the question:
How can i change the tablespace for a particular user...
ORA-3113 means the client lost contact with the server process. Most probably because the server process crashed.
This is almost always an Oracle bug.

Actually It depends, If u hv freshly installed the database
then the Answer is yes, but if lot of tablespace etc have been added then Answer is No.
Anyway U can get a feel of ur database by the control file
Alter database backup controlfile to trace.
Try this and Mail further...

Try Doing this By a PL/SQL block.Make one cursor with table1
and other with table2 and passing parameters and Updating
I m sure It will work.
