    ISDN Phone

STMD module was mainly used for ISDN trunks but can be configured for non-buspowered phones too. As there were not many pure isdn phones on the market, the subscriber option was used mostly for isdn videoconference systems or servers with isdn cards. In fact this was long time before all of this...

    ISDN Phone

What do you mean with "ISDN numbers"? Do you want a simple ISDN extension or a ISDN trunk (e.g. CO-trunk)? If you want a ext., you have to know if you want a point-to-point or a point-to-multipoint (bus) configuration.

    HIPATH 4000 v6 UPGRADE ISSUE

1.) Afaik CP phones are supported from V8R1 on - so no support on very old V6. 2.) Acutal OS4k versions like V10R1/V11R0 require EcoServer. You can wire the LTUCA's directly to the backplane of EcoServer.

    Requesting support for STMIX

If you expect a licensing issue, just have a look at HISTA messages and Assistant main page. Afaik there are no extra licences needed for a STMIX board, at least not in V10. With V11 even the SLES-upgrade-protection lic's are not needed anymore.

    Requesting support for STMIX

If there is something wrong in the linux os, I would not spend long time in tryin to repair it. Official way is to reset the board - which means a new os installation. This procedure is described in "OpenScape 4000 V11 Volume 4 IP Solutions Service Documentation Issue 13.pdf" in chapter "2.11...

    Requesting support for STMIX

It seems, linux on stmix is somehow not ready. If you can login via ssh, u should be able to see status/repair it.

    Requesting support for STMIX

On stmix there is simply a linux os running, just like on host, assistant, soco, etc. V11 runs OpenSuSe.

    Requesting support for STMIX

Ahhhh... V11! Afaik, there is a parameter that opens direct access to stmix. For security reasons this is blocked in default setup. This explains lock symbol too, that I didn't see until now.

    Requesting support for STMIX

For some reason the STMIX is not reachable in the LAN. Neither OS nor LW can be determined. Also the lock symbol next to the pen is strange. When you login to assistant via ssh, can you ping the board (192.168.206.200)? Pls. post RMX config (DIS-BCSU,DIS-CGWB,TDCSU,etc.). Maybe the config is...

    HiPath 4k Commands - V11 R0.22.2

There are lots of manuals available for OS4k systems. One of them (its for V7 but V11 is not too different) is here for example. Another one covers all AMO's - but be warned, there are hundreds of AMO's and even more parameters (>100.000 I guess). I strongly recommend to start with a OS4k basic...

    Requesting support for STMIX

Off course the stmix' LAN port has to be connected to the network. If there is no router, you have to assign a IP in the subnet of the assistant to reach it with GW-manager. Also upgrade the OS on the stmix with GW-Manager.
