    VPN on a Cisco 1720

here is the link to the cisco site where the VDM can be downloaded. http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/nemnsw/vpdvmn/index.shtml You may have to login then go to the link. Just curious, when you created the access-lists, did you apply them to the interface?? (ie., access-group bla, bla, bla)

    VPN on a Cisco 1720

have you tried to configure tunneling? Can you post some of the configs? Im not too familiar with the 1720 but have seen that Cisco has software VDM (VPN Device Manager) that is used to manage and configure site-to-site VPNs on a single device from a web browser; you can download it from Cisco...

How to simulate a WAN link between two 1600 routers

I am trying to connect two cisco 1600's together to simulate a WAN link. I want to use the serial ports (obviously) to do this, my question is, can this be done using cat5? Does anyone know what the pin configuration is? Or know where I can find articles on this? Thanks for any advice

I am pretty new to Cisco and I erased my nvram

just a bit more of advice, when you finish configuring your router, save a back up config to a tftp server. copy run tftp or copy start tftp will get this done for you. you can get one from the cisco web site, it is really easy to do.

    Meridian output to AS/400

Currently Meridian is spitting out data to an AS/400. The output for the most part looks fine, however, sometimes the call records run together making one long string of multiple call records. Is there a way to format the output so this doesnt happen? I know how to do this when a terminal is...
