Thanks for the suggestions, but I suspect I will have to increment a counter in a separate table, and read from there. The GRN number allocation must be completely automatic, and just carries on sequentially day after day. Would the running total suggestion store the counter each time...how...- richtee

Combo Box and Limit To List
I have a combo box with Limit to List set, but I am still able to Press "Enter" without selecting anything in the combo box. I need code to give a message that nothing has been entered, and leave the cursor in the same combo box awaiting input. At present I can display a message, but...- richtee
