I am accessing Oracle linked tables through odbc using
MS Access queries. I get this message sometimes usually
when the Oracle tables are linked to local Access tables.
The query have worked before and I am not sure what cause
this. To get around this I would download the Oracle

username/password for the Oracle database. The users cannot type in their username because the field is grey out and retains the username that was used

my problem is when I log onto the Oracle database from
my Access mdb using odbc a popup windows prompts for
login name and password. Does anyone know why the login
name is already filled in and sometimes it is grey out so that the login name can not be changed ?
