Getting UFLs to work
Check your windows registry settings. I'm looking at the instructions for some UFL's I got from the Crystal website yesterday and they note the UFL must be registered in windows before the functions are made available.- rebel11409

Only Needing Null Fields for a Report!!
Somewhere in the Crystal Documentation it tells you that Crystal exits anytime a selection or formula encouters a NULL value. My normal solution is to create a formula using the isnull function to insert a value into any null field. Then set your record selection, or another formula to...- rebel11409

As a simple step by step, Select 'Insert', 'group' main toolbar. input the 'ID' field in the first box which is the field to group by.
