DirectX 8.1 Crashed my system, please help!!!
On my second PC I downloaded DirectX 8.1 from Windows website for Windows Me (thats the correct OS on that system) and I went through the install it asked me if I wish to reboot so I hit yes and when it rebooted it was stuck on the slash screen for win me.
