Following: I setup an ftp (so had to install IIS)... i pointed the ftp to a certain folder, this folder has full access rights for the user ABC.
Now, from any ftp client I can connect to it, but only as an admin-user. The ABC user won't connect. What I'm doing wrong???

got 2 sites, A and B. site A had to be reinstalled by scratch. After the reinstall from A, i went to site B and removed the trustrelationship (no more existent) to the old 'A' site. Then I setup on 'A' site a TRUSTING DOMAIN, went to B site and setup the trust into TRUSTED...
well the backup works, with the basic NT Backup... that's where i got the files from... i just can't understand WHY mails up to the last 2-3 weeks are NOT working, on the users mailsbox under outlook, they simply can' open those last few massages (neither deletable)...

I've reinstalled by scratch (don't laugh) NT4, applied sp6, installed Exchange Server5.5, applied SP4 and gave all the same name and same install procedure as the system was running before (same user, same pass, same domain, same server, same org names, ....)

sorry for the maybe stupid hint, but when it happens here, it simply means that the Windows Account Password has expired... So people are still logged, the password expired whilst the suer where logged, and that way they loose network access and are prompted for a password when opening O or...
