I tried running the update & it directly took me to "Remove BT Stack for Windows by Toshiba". So I assume that the update is in place for the laptop as the laptop was shipped on 6/1/2005. But when I check the drivers list I dont see anything that...

Also the BT Manager in About section shows the version & says "Copyright Toshiba Corporation".
Does this mean that the BT driver is NOT implemented by Microsoft??

I bought Inspiron 6000 with specs that read 'Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Internal(2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate' in it. When I open the Bluetooth Manager in About section I see "Version v3.03.02(D)".

Since there was no date in the table...altering your second option, I tried to copy the whole table from 1 DB version to another. There is this append option there(when I try pasting). It asked me insert question & something more...but I went ahead & tried & it worked.

What I need to do is
1. run a query against a table, x varies
'select * from table1 where emp=x'
2. save the data as a temp table-table2
(i use 'save data as table2' command after running the above query in QMF)
3. update emp=y (in temp table & y varies)
(i use - 'update table2 set emp=y')
