LOL,
What fun this is!!! I will get back with episode II: Revenge of Randy.
(Since I am working with a production system, I am playing it out by ear. Sorry, no timeline yet.)
Well,
I plugged the 308 into the wall and *poof*. I hate/love the smell of blown fuses. So I took a look at the power supply to see what and where.
1. The fuse was blown
2. The "big black pancake" circuit (the one with the c90-11 on it) was wacked out. (It looked like it arched with the...
Thanks for the advice Chris and Paul. (Same names as my brother and father, heh)
I will use the spare power cord I have and plug in the 308 directly without being in the carrier. I didn't dare try that without "consent".
About putting it in slot 1, cool thanks.

Hey Paul,
Never safe to assume... Yes I did power down the carrier =)

+--------------------
|ACS R5.0 [slot 3]
+--------------------...

I don't want to...
I have a 308EC with a bad power supply. I won't go into detail as how it went bad, because you guys would think I was a total dweeb.
I have a 206 (and 206E) with a good power supply.
Can I swap the power supplies? They seem to have the same grey plug, the same green ground wire, and the same...
Hello again,
I notice the following activity when the Partner VS 5.0 module is being used or has current load: Is this normal? (I'm a little trigger shy as you can see)
1) Led Flicker (similar to a PC hard disk led)
2) Hard Disk access noise (somewhat obnoxious)
Note: The Led flicker is...
When I turn on my system, the Partner VS module light goes red for half a second, then goes solid green for about 2-3 seconds, and then the led turns off. I do however continue to hear the hard drive making some noise, spinning, reading, or whatever it may be doing. The ACS stays solid green...
