Thanks for the reply, Skip. I knew about the protection lock but it seems I remember opening a worksheet one time that the size was locked and not just the manipulation of the cells. If you go to Format, Sheet, Background and insert a JPG, it will be painted onto the spreadsheet like HTML...- radarguy
