I have been asked if it is possible to add a list of values in a column but to only add every alternate value. Therefore if I have a column with 50 values I only want to accumulate 25 of the 50.

I have a spreadsheet whereby number of hours worked is entered on a row e.g. 8:30 7:00 11:00 The total hours worked figure however displays 2:30 instead of 26:30 and all of the cells are formated to Custom hh:mm. What must I do to display my totals correctly?
