    Change the close date

I so wish it were that simple. The moment I change it to "Close-Won" the close date automatically changes to the current date and greys out the screen so it cannot be changed back.

    Change the close date

Hello, I just started using ACT! and have a question. I use the dashboard to track the monthly sales. If I close an opportunity and need to make an adjustment, fix a mistake, or add a note, when I re-close it (Close-Won) it changes the Close Date to the current date and completely throws off...

AD integrated DNS Zones not replicating

Just an update that this was corrected and I never posted the method. I created another zone with the same exact name on the backup server and it autmatically replicated.

    Win 95 and 98 into a win2k native domain????

We are about to upgrade to Win2k native mode. I was wondering how I would (if I have to ) set up the few window 95 and 98 machines we still have on the network that we cannot upgrade. Can we go to native with 95 and 98 machines. Once you do that than the only domain name recognized would be...

AD integrated DNS Zones not replicating

To Pilot1; Yes, the zone names fit our domain names as needed. DNS is functioning properly as far as resolving names and such. It's the replication that is not working. To Peter, I will lay it out so I can understand your answer easier. Domain Controller #1 Forward zones 1)...

Thanks to Peter here's help I just got my VPN working smooth as a baby's botttom (untill the electrical storm last night) and in my travels I learned that you need both nic's enabled but the internal nic should not have a default gateway set! (this will force all you packets inward to go to your...

VPN on CABLE too slow (win98SE)

So what was the final answer on this? Oh, now I have to go home and try this because I have to do it this week for employeees anyway. My though on the matter is that Win2k was designed with VPN technology in mind, Win98 was not and therefore there is a lot of non-standard elements in making...

AOL Internet sharing in Win 2k Pro

I have actually had pretty good luck with Verio as an ISP that has a nice connection manager with all the nationwide phone numbers in it. But they also let you use a standard dial up connection without any hassles like I had when we tried AT&T, AOL, and Compuserve for the salesman on the road...
