if we have a number of pages, and we want to design the side menue one time to be repeated for all the pages, in case if we have to change something in the menu so as to change it one time. kindly how can this be done.

you are right my friend , this problem cause by the mouse, when i use the original usb Sun mouse , the installation go on successufly , thank you very much for you taking care and pay attention to my threat,

I have a sun server installed with solaris 8 , I have to install Sybase on it with version (Adaptive Server Enterprise/11.9.2)
when i start install by this command:

$/cdrom/cdrom0/sybload -D
--------------------------------
every thing go fine...

I did what you told me
ls -al
but there was not such .dt file.
what i want to know is why the tool (openwindow) doesn't work when trying to install from begining, and even when i installd it without openwindow by command:
boot cdrom install-w
after the insallation fininsh...

I'm new in Unix , i want to re-install solaris 8 on a Sun blad150 server , when i install using boot cdrom , the installation fails in the 3rd step when it tring to openwindow tool and the following messages appear:
...............................
giving up
/usr/openwin/bin/xinit...
Could it be to logon to remote workstation in a LAN newtwork with anothor sesstion , so as not to require the current user on the workstaion to logoff and both keep on the same workstation?
