    Can ping network connections but cannot access internet

    Thanks A Mill - peanutsmm I have been reloading, reconfiguring, researching, removing, etc. for over a week now. I could ping addresses but not names. DNS was simply not working - making internet surfing a no go. Your suggestion was the answer to my WIN98SE DNS blues. Thanks again
