You could try to boot to C: and run fdisk /mbr to clean the boot record. That's all I can think of

I guess I've been lucky. I wasn't able to even install SP1. Based on what I've been hearing/reading, I wont be either. Maybe I'll just fdisk and "downgrade" to Win2k and leave the XP disk under the truck tire.

Do you have the System Restore feature turned on? (prob a stupid question, but you never know - considering I made that mistake a couple of times myself) ;)

Try this: Control Panel\User Accounts CLick on te icon that is You, and in the upper right hand corner click on "Mnagae my Network Passwords" Don't ya just love XP????
