I have an ongoing problem with our site being blaclisted for spam.
Not sure if this is the right forum, but a search for "email blacklist" didn't turn up much.
First off, it is not our Groupwise that is being blacklisted. The address that is blacklisted is the public address of our firewall...
Well gee, guys, I didn't mean to drop anything in your cornflakes.
I am fully aware of Microsoft's Licensing agreements.
I read EULAs like some folks read the bible.
I find both equally informative. :-)
Thank you for your support.

Thanks 58Sniper,
Well, "Staff" would be a user?
Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but under Novell, I can configure a user to have multiple logins, from different computers.
It seemed to work with Server 2K, although it was a workgroup server, and only needed a mapped drive.
Up to 5...
Thanks PHV,
That helps. Not what I wanted to hear, but it helps.
So anyone that accesses services running on this Server must be logged in?
Can I configure a common user, say "Staff", and give multiple logins?
One of the secondary apps is just a service, and the other is a mileage program...
I am replacing an old Windows 2000 server with SMall Business Server 2003. The server runs an imaging application that only requires one or two people to log in, plus a couple of small applications
The W2K server is configured as a WorkGroup Server.
I can't seem to install the Small Business...
Next to last task to migrate all our Novell files, Groupwise, applications, and Novell services from our 5.0 Server to a new 6.5 Small Business Suite is our legacy printing.
Brand new to NDPS Printing. We have set up iPrint, NDPS Broker, and iPrint Manager.
When we installed the NDPS Broker...
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the help.
I finally called Novell on our 60 day Install help.
I asked them to help us restore the lost objects from our backups on the new server. Never tried that, and was not going to go to school on a production server.
Tech Support didn't seem to keen on it...
Sstopped and all,
I know what you mean. I want to get away from using it ASAP myself.
About a Backup. I copyied the domain directory and the po directory to my local workstation before we started this drill. Is that a sufficient backup? Crude, I know, but one of the reasons we are getting ric...
Hi all,
Got a problem that has me stumped.
I moved a Groupwise Post Office from a Netwware 5.0 server that is going away to our new 6.5 server.
Sut down the 5.5 Groupwise, and moved the directories. installed Groupwise and the SP 5 for it on the new server, I think I have everything...
Hi again, everyone,
Hi Hellbeach,
I have a NW 6.5 server that I migrated from NW 5.1.
Following the instructions, you have to set up a "Pre-Migration" 6.5 server in a temporary tree. After updating several files on the 5.1 server, the migration works -- sort of.
A few thngs were missng, as...
Hi again,
Well, I let Netware fix it. Usually a good idea.
I deleted the old template for creating new users, and created a new one. I assigned a home directory, added the group everyone, and made the new Server the default server.
Left everything else as default.
The user created with this...
Hi TheLad,
I printed out the TID, and will check it out.
not sure that it applies, because I do not get any login errors. The user simply is unable to map the drives that he is assigned as member of a group. No errors are displayed!
Marv,
I guess I can understand the security risk.
This is...
Hello All,
I just finished up 2 hours of messing around with the same problem.
I did not get any error messages, the new user simply would not map some of the drives in the login script. I could map them after the user was logged in.
Finally remembered something similiar a few months ago...
Well, for reasons best known only to itself, the SUSE workstation suddenly began logging us in to the Server. Can't break it now.
[ponder] Beats me, but I never look a gift horse in the mouth.
Turns out we installed the 32 bit version on our AMD 64 bit hardware. Going to download the 64 bit...
Hi Brent,
The NIC is bound, on the 6.5 SBS server (been working for some time) and the SUSE workstation.
The workstation can access the Internet. I repeat -- when I run the Novell login, the dialog box comes up, and the correct tree, context, and server are in place.
When I enter a valid user...
