Hi Markyboy, To restart the GUI issue this command at the prompt: sh /etc/rc2.d/S69xdm start This will launch the GUI. Also you can press "ALT-SYSREQ and then P" to jump into the GUI, and the "ALT-SYSREQ then H" to drop back to the command line. Let me know if it works!- ppym1
