I haven't worked with the free versions of ZA, but I am wondering if the free version provides the ability to back up the security settings, as does the Pro version. If yes, then the back up will be created as an .xml file. Open that file and look for a section such as this: <outboundMail...- Polincor1

oops, it happened again!
You didn't mention with which OS this problem is occurring. I have had a lot of problems with certain versions of ZA Pro on my Win2K Pro setup (no problems with my Win98SE or WinXP Pro setups). For example, ZAP v4.0.146.029 has not produced these problems on Win2K Pro, but ZAP v3.0.134 did...- Polincor1

ID Lock feature in ver 4.5x
Did you add 'www.tek-tips.com' to the 'Trusted Sites' in the 'ID Lock' section? If yes, make sure to give 'www.tek-tips.com' the ALLOW status. §° Every setup and system is different, unless it has been cloned. Default File Extensions
Open Windows Explorer/My Computer (shortcut keys are 'WinKey +E'), go to the TOOLS menu and select 'Folder Options'. Click on the 'File Types' tab. ZoneAlarm Update
These are old posts I am reading here, but I did not see the solution I found, posted. I will offer what worked for me, since I am new to Tek Tips. I am using PRO and had the same problem with my Win2K Pro and XP Pro ZA installations - expecially Win2K. The problem did noy occur on my Win98...- Polincor1
