I haven't worked with the free versions of ZA, but I am wondering if the free version provides the ability to back up the security settings, as does the Pro version.
If yes, then the back up will be created as an .xml file. Open that file and look for a section such as this:

I have had a lot of problems with certain versions of ZA Pro on my Win2K Pro setup (no problems with my Win98SE or WinXP Pro setups). For example, ZAP v4.0.146.029 has not produced these problems on Win2K Pro, but ZAP v3.0.134 did...
Did you add 'www.tek-tips.com' to the 'Trusted Sites' in the 'ID Lock' section? If yes, make sure to give 'www.tek-tips.com' the ALLOW status.
