My provider seems to think that having subdomains setup on my server is the same as is wildcard DNS. He has not replied about setup of the httpd.config file because he thinks Wildcard is setup which it is not. I take it there is a difference between wildcard DNS and subdomains
I have A records setup with my DNS host which is different to my webspace provider. Which is why if I type www.polardesign.co.uk or asdf.polardesign.co.uk in NSLOOKUP it provides the same IP address. Which is why I am being sent to the correct server. but only www.polardesign.co.uk allows...
I have wild card DNS setup for my webpage. www.polardesign.co.uk. If I type asdf.polardesign.co.uk I get the following message.
"Not Found
The requested URL / was not found on this server.
