Norstar 4.1 rel 02. Newly established 10 digit dialing plan set up locally. Cannot program norstar to dial 10 digits without preceeding "1" for local. Cannot find any reference to local digit dial length. Seems to be set uo fpor local as 7 digit only.

I'm not sure about alarm 73. But alarm 75 means loss of timong from PRI providor

You need more knowledge programming. The password is 266344. Cancel the call forward programming for that ect and it will not forward to the voice mail

I believe you need at least 6.0 software for the KLM to work on the 7316

You need Norstar Remote Utilities to program a NAM with a laptop. You'll need the Utilities package for the software level of the NAM. I have never been successful using it pre 4.0 NAM. It's a pain in the but to use. Takes practice. Good luck finding a copy.

Hi, The 7316 is a 7310 in a different case. The 7316E is a different phone entirely. Completely different button programming. Also older systems ( pre 5.0 software I believe) will only recognize the 7315E as a 7316 or 7310 configuration

Thank you for the info on call forward no answer. I am aware of it. The call forward no answer simply forwards to the voice mail system. How do I prevent the caller from being fowarded to the answer DN's mail box instead of the called ext. mailbox?

My customer has 6.0 software. I wanted to upgrade to 7.0 XC. I have done many upgrades in the past and usually just swapped the software cartridge and was done. With the upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 XC the MICS would not come back up . The sets contioued to flash. I returned the system to it's...
