Thanks for your advice, Unfortunately the restore from the mksysb hangs after loading the kernel on a block screen, I believe this to be the green just before where you normal get asked to press F1 to continue install. I think this is due to either the bosinst.data or image.data files on the... -

Hi all, I need to know how to restore from tape a mksysb. The live server has 4 drives 72GB each and 2 vg rootvg and datavg on different mirrors. My new server has 2 x 146GB drives so I need to mirror them in to one big 146GB disk and restore the 2 vg's to this. How do I do this with mksysb...
